Ignou has finally released the datesheet/exam routine for the term-end examination of Dec 2019.You can easily download the datesheet in pdf form from the link given below. The examination is beginning from the 2nd of December and will end on 3rd of the month of January 2020.<br />

Before you appear in the exams you need to submit the assignments for the subjects that you want to sit for examination. After submitting the assignment only you are allowed to sit for term-end exams.<br />

<b>Conditions for appearing in the term-end examination:</b><br />

             Students are eligible for appearing in the term-end examination if his/her registration for this courses(subjects that he/she wants to sit exam for) is valid and not time barred. He/she must submit the required number of assignments in the courses by due date whenever applicable. If somehow he/she fails to meet the following requirements then either he/she may not get permission to appear in the examination or his/her results are not likely to be declared.<br />

<b>Criteria for registration of term-end examination form:</b><br />
<br />
             Students are advised to visit the official website of Ignou i.e., www.ignou.ac.in<br />
There you can find the registration option for TEE. While registering make sure you fill the correct information as incorrect information may result in cancellation of your registration.<br />

             The exam fee  per course costs 150 rupees. The exam fee you can pay online by online banking or by credit card or other medium whichever you like. You can choose any exam center across India according to your comfort but make sure the exam center that you choose must have the facility of the course that you are taking like for example: if you are a science student and you want to choose the nearest college as your examination center but that college doesn't have science facilities then you are not allowed to choose that college as your examination center.<br />
<br />
<b>Note</b>: Once you register for any exam center then you are not allowed to change it again in that same term-end examination. Although in the next examination you can change it.<br />
<br />
<b>Things to remember during exam:</b><br />
<b><br /></b>         Students must know that the exams in Ignou are conducted in two shifts, that are morning shift and afternoon shift. Morning shifts starts from 10am whereas afternoon shift starts from 2pm. The duration of examination differs from course to course. Most papers duration is 2 hours whereas for some it is 3 hours and for some it is 1 and half hour or even 2 and half hour.<br />
         Students must bring their Identity card to the exam hall as well as the hall ticket. And they are supposed to show their identity card and hall ticket whenever demanded by the Invigilator/Centre Superintendent.<br />

                Indira Gandhi national Open University (IGNOU) which is one
of the best and largest open university of the world which was established in the
year 1985 offers 227 numerous academic programs at Bachelor, Master, MPhil and
PHD levels through 67 Regional Centres spread across the country. IGNOU offers
the programs in various streams like Humanities and Social Sciences, Science,
Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, Teaching and Education, Business and
Management Studies, Hospitality and Travel, IT and Software, Mass Communication
and Media, Law and Arts (Fine/Visual/Performing), etc.</div>

has announced to its Distance education academic Programs for the January academic
session.</div>

<b>IGNOU Admission details (January Session):<o:p></o:p></b></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
              Candidates willing to take admission to UG Programs must
have cleared +2 or equivalent from a recognized board. Similarly, candidates
willing to get admission to Post graduate programs must have Bachelor’s degree
of minimum 3 years duration from any recognized board. Also for different Diploma
and other certificate programs there is different eligibility criteria.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
There is no particular age bar for candidates to apply for admission
to any program. The admission fees are different for the different programs.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<b>Note:</b> Candidates are advised to thoroughly go through
the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the prospectus provided by the IGNOU
for the program in which they want to secure admission.</div>

<b>IGNOU Admission Process:<o:p></o:p></b></div>

               Willing candidates can apply to the courses offered by IGNOU
either offline or online. However, candidate must note that the following
programmes: <b>MSCMACS, MAEDU, DNA, PGDMCH, PGDHHM, PGDHRM, PGDGM, PGDMM,
PGDOM, PGDFM, PGDFMP, BBARL, MAEDU, BPCCHN, PGDIBO to MCOM2, PGDSW to MSW2,
PGDSWGS to MAWGS2, PGDCFT to MSCCFT2, PGDAE to MAAE2, PGDDE to MADE2, MP and
MPB </b>are available only in offline mode. Whereas, online admission system is
valid and activated only for the Indian National candidates i.e., the foreign
national students can apply in offline mode.</div>

First of all the candidates needs to purchase Student
Handbook and Prospectus from the nearest IGNOU Regional Centre by paying cash
or even they can purchase Student Handbook and Prospectus by sending Demand
Draft (DD) in favour of IGNOU by post. It can also be downloaded from the
official website<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span><a href="http://www.ignou.ac.in/">www.ignou.ac.in</a> and submitted along with a DD
of Rs.200/- addition to Programme Fee.</div>

               IGNOU grants admission to its courses through three
different methods. The methods being: Direct admission for candidates
fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria, admission on the basis of merit and
admission through Entrance test. </div>

               Admission to most of the courses is granted on the basis of
merit whereas admission to few of the courses is based on entrance exams.</div>

The examination is scheduled to begin on 2nd of December and will end on 3rd  of January 2020.<br />

In some cases, candidates fail to download the Hall Ticket or  their hall Ticket does not get displayed on the website even after entering the enrolment no. and program code. This rarely happens but since its compulsory to carry Hall Ticket to appear in the examination the candidates are supposed to get a duplicate Hall Ticket.</div>

                                  Candidate should contact  their regional centre to  obtain the information regarding examination that is allocated to them.</div>

                                                                            To get the duplicate Hall Ticket the candidate is supposed to bring a proof of submission of the Term End Examination application form along with a recent passport size photograph. </div>

IGNOU, which is one of the largest open university of the world conducts theory examination twice a year in the months of June and December. The exam is of two shifts which is morning and afternoon shift. The morning shift exam begins at time 10:00 a.m in the morning whereas the afternoon shift begins at the time 02:00 p.m.</div>

To appear in Ignou term-end examination, student is required to submit the assignment of the subject/course that he/she wants to sit exam for. Then he/she needs to fill-up exam form and pay the exam fee which is ₨ 120 per course.<br />
                                                           The hall-ticket is then announced by Ignou before 2-3 weeks of beginning of the examination. The student is required to download the hall-ticket from the official or unofficial Ignou website.The students must bring the downloaded hall-ticket and student's ID card. If he/she fails to bring any of the two then he/she can not be allowed to appear in the examination.</div>

                                               Students are usually not allowed inside the examination hall before 30 minutes of the examination. And are not allowed even 30 minutes after the beginning of the examination. The duration of the exam is usually 2 hours for 50 marks question paper, 3 hours for 100 marks question paper and 1 hour 30 minutes for 25 marks question paper.</div>

Ignou usually starts declaring the term-end theory examination results after 30-45 days of completion of examination. As soon as the examination answer sheets are checked, the Ignou updates the results of that particular checked course/subject. Hence one may receive their one or few course/subject's result early and of others later.</div>

Pass marks for term-end examination is 34 for 100 marks examination, 17 for 50 marks question and 9 for 25 marks question.</div>

                                       In case if any student gets low marks or fails then he/she can even apply for recheck of the paper that he failed or secured low marks. Students are also allowed to see their answer sheet as how it has been checked but to see their answer sheet the student need to complete some official process and pay the amount for checking the answer sheet.<br />
